Pacquiao Quotes Bible in Defence of Martial Law Extension - He's correct, BUT...

Sen. Manny Pacquiao is correct, when he said that Whoever rebels against authority, rebels against God” (in defense of martial law extension), yes, we should obey human authorities (Romans 13:1, 1 Peter 2:13), BUT...we have to determine first whether the authority is violating God's law or not. If it does violate God's law, then "we must obey God rather than men" (Acts 5:29).

In the case of Philippine president Duterte's administration, so far there are 12 thousand Filipinos dead from extrajudicial killings. They all died without due process. We do not know whether they are guilty or not. Also, Duterte has been a bad example to the populace in regards to his tasteless jokes and cussing in public. He's a self-confessed murderer, a self-confessed thief, a liar, and an adulterer. Now, is this the kind of authority we should follow? Does the Duterte administration follow Exodus 20:13 (You shall not murder), etc..?
"Christians are to obey human law except where that human law violates God's Law. Our supreme duty is to obey God. Since God tells us to also obey human laws, we should. But, when they come in conflict, we are to "obey God rather than men."" - CARM.
PACQUIAO IS TWISTING GOD'S WORD TO SUIT HIS POLITICAL AGENDA. AND IT'S NOT JUST PACQUIAO WHO'S IN ERROR, ALL CHRISTIANS WHO SUPPORT DUTERTE ARE DECEIVED AND ARE IN ERROR TOO.

Christian Duterte Supporters are Making a Huge Mistake

Some of my Filipino "Christian" friends (who I know of are Duterte supporters) on FB who do not even 'LIKE' most of my posts (esp. Bible verses, Christian memes, and articles) for a long time in the past would suddenly burst into scene whenever I post anything against Philippine president Duterte, and they are quick to comment on my wall to defend him. Can't I post on MY own wall stuff that are really happening in the Philippines like for example the killings of poor innocent people (which God hates, by the way)?

What's happening to Christianity? How could a “Christian” defend a murderer when the Word of God clearly says, "YOU SHALL NOT MURDER." (Exodus 20:13)? It’s not that hard to understand, is it? They’d often point out Romans 13:1-2 which is to submit to (good) authorities, but what they can't see (or refuse to see) is the wickedness of this administration. How can a Christian submit, follow, (and worst) support an evil authority without breaking God’s law? It’s impossible unless they twist the Word of God.

“Christians are to obey human law except where that human law violates God's Law. Our supreme duty is to obey God. Since God tells us to also obey human laws, we should. But, when they come in conflict, we are to “obey God rather than men” (Acts 5:29). “ - Shall We Obey God’s Law or Human Law? CARM (Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry)

A lot of professing Christians would brag about witnessing to the unbelievers, but support Duterte’s extra-judicial killings of innocent Filipinos who probably had died without even knowing Jesus Christ. It doesn’t make sense. And even if some of the victims are really drug addicts or pushers, where is mercy? Jesus says in the Beatitudes, “Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.” (Matthew 5:7). God has been so merciful to us, and we ought to show mercy to others also. They would also often post Bible verses on their FB walls about how they love Jesus Christ and that they would follow Him wherever He leads them, and how His Word comforts and strengthens them in times of their troubles, but they don’t realize that by supporting Duterte (a self-confessed murderer, adulterer, and a liar) they are actually throwing Jesus Christ under the bus and His Word in the garbage bin. Even some unbelievers can see this and would sometimes criticize them (and consequently Christianity as a whole) for being hypocrites. Sadly, Jesus Christ is not being glorified.

I didn’t intend this to be this long as this was supposed to be just a shout out on my FB wall, but it turned out to be a short blog. I guess I’ve got a lot of things to say. Christians are called to be the light of this world. We should always be the first to condemn wickedness, not be partakers of it. We should always speak against evil, not defend it. Christian Duterte supporters are making a huge mistake. They are sinning by supporting a murderer. They should repent. Dietrich Bonhoeffer once said, “Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.”

Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good. ~ Romans 12:9

READING: "SLAVE: The Hidden Truth About Your Identity in Christ" by John MacArthur Jr.

Slave: The Hidden Truth About Your Identity in ChristSlave: The Hidden Truth About Your Identity in Christ by John F. MacArthur Jr.
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

An eye-opening book that really changed the way I see myself as a follower of Jesus Christ. John MacArthur explains well the meaning of "Doulos", which is the original greek word used in the New Testament. I'm not just a "servant" of Christ, but a "SLAVE" of Christ.

"Like slaves, we are to be fully devoted to our Master alone. Our greatest concern is summed up in the words of Christ: "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength" (Mark 12:30 NKJV). Such exclusive devotion makes it impossible to serve God and other masters at the same time. We cannot simultaneously serve God and money, worship the true God and idols, or live according to the Spirit and the flesh."

Happy New Year: But This One Thing I Do...

Brothers, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth to those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 3:13-14

Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. - Philippians 4:8

It's "Preauricular Sinus"

Finally! It took me over 40 years to know what these tiny holes above my ears are called. Preauricular Sinus, it's "a hereditary defects that was first documented by a scientist called Van Heusinger in 1864. Usually they're found on one side, but up to 50 per cent of people have them on both."

Good thing I came across this article. But I disagree with one evolutionary biologist who says that the holes could be an "evolutionary remnant of fish gills". That's one big LOL! I don't believe in evolution theory, so, I don't buy that. God created me this way. Thank you Jesus!

To Whom It May Concern: I Give Up

To whom it may concern,

Ang pangit pakinggan na kung kailan ka tumanda, doon ka pa nagwala. Tumandang paurong. Instead of becoming wiser and a better person, mas lalo kang naging foolish and evil. I pity you, and I'm afraid for your soul dahil hindi mo alam kung gaanong ka-horrible ang place where you'll end up if you'll not repent. I forgave you even though you're not asking forgiveness. I tried to forget what you've done, but now you're doing it again. I gave you chance, but you blew it away. It seems like you don't want my forgiveness at all and you don't want to change for the better.

Remember that God sees every secret thing you do. You cannot hide from Him. Mabuti ang Panginoon at mapagpasensya, pero meroon ding hangganan ang lahat. Mag-isip kang mabuti, you still have time before He exposes all your wickedness to everyone.
Nothing is covered up that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have said in the dark shall be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in private rooms shall be proclaimed on the housetops. - Luke 12: 2-3
My heart is crying and bleeding, but not because of the evil things you've done against me, but because of the evil things, you're doing to yourself and to those people who love you. I give up. Bahala na ang Dios sa 'yo, there's nothing more I can do. But don't worry, I still forgive you and praying for you that you may find God's forgiveness. I would rather see you be saved than go to hell. I don't want to treat you as my enemy, but as a person who needs to be saved. Jesus Christ is the only one who can save you. Heed His Word. Repent from all your unrighteousness. Come to Him with a godly sorrow in your heart and He'll forgive you. It has been proven many many times before na nasa huli lagi ang pagsisisi. Repent.

And as for me, I will continue to walk on the path of righteousness. Hindi ako papabayaan ng Dios. Patunay dyan na simula pa lang noong 1972 sa hospital kung saan ako ibinigay ng doctor sa mga kinikilala kong magulang, up until now, hindi ako iniwan o pinabayaan ng Panginoon, in fact, He blessed me with so much. "Even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close." (Psalm 27:10). Faithful ang Panginoon. He will never leave me. He will never forsake me. The more you hurt me, the more you hurt yourself. Hindi mo ako kayang saktan. God is my protector. He will deliver me from all of them who fight against me.

At pagdating ng araw, when you're at your lowest and weakest and nobody wants to help you or pick you up, I will pick you up at aalagaan kita (even though kasamaan ang ipinalit mo sa mga kabutihan ko sa iyo), and you will glorify God at sasabihin mong "Napakabuti talaga ng Panginoon Dios". Sandali nalang ang buhay natin sa mundo, use it to honor God, your creator. I wish you love. Praying for you always. May the good Lord have mercy on your soul. God bless you.

From a person who cares for you.

BLESSED IS THE MAN THAT HEARS ME, WATCHING DAILY AT MY GATES, WAITING AT THE POSTS OF MY DOORS. FOR WHOEVER FINDS ME FINDS LIFE, AND SHALL OBTAIN FAVOR OF THE LORD. BUT HE THAT SINS AGAINST ME WRONGS HIS OWN SOUL: ALL THEY THAT HATE ME LOVE DEATH. - Proverbs 8:34-36 (American KJV)
